Christine Keshishyan, Owner
Mrs. Christine Keshishyan serves as the Owner and Lead Teacher of Glendale Family Day Care. Her passion for education sparked during her undergraduate program where she studied Psychology at California State University, Northridge. Upon graduation, Mrs. Keshishyan worked as a public school teacher within the Los Angeles Unified School District. During this time, she completed her Masters in Eduction and Teaching Credential at National University.

After five years of teaching at a public school, Mrs. Keshishyan embarked on her goal to open a quality day care for her community, Glendale Child Day Care.

Living and working in Los Angeles, California I have had the opportunity to learn so much in my field. I have been trained by a number of industry professionals, which means I’ve had many different experiences that have built me into the skilled professional I am today.
As both an educator and a first time mom, I have challenged myself provide the highest quality education for both my students and my child in order for them to achieve their highest potential. How We Work
At Glendale Child Day Care, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming environment for all children. Our unique program incorporates Montessori Theory, while always keeping the child’s best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning. Our curriculum encourages and incorporates play based methods, language development, STEAM, math, and much more!

Over time, we’ve designed and adapted programs to meet the high standards of today’s world of education. By providing a supportive environment, we make sure each child receives exactly what they need. We believe that each child has special talents and is unique in their own way. Glendale Child Day Care offers flexible curriculums and is equipped to work with each child individually to prepare them for kindergarten. We view the children in our Day Care as an extension of our family and they will be cared for with that approach.

Our credentialed and CPR trained staffed staff is focused on creating a positive, clean, welcoming, and happy environment for all students, as every child's safety and well being is our number one priority.

Christine runs her daycare with warmth, thoughtfullness, and a rigorous attention paid to the varied needs of young children. She takes great care with my daughter, and sends me reports and updates and photos; in fact I especially want to praise her highly responsive and inquisitive communication style because it reassures me throughout the day that my daughter is getting great individualized care, participating in creative play and activities, learning new things, socializing, eating healthy foods, enjoying outdoor play, and overall embarking on sweet adventures day to day. I recommend this daycare enthusiastically!

I recommend Glendale Child Day Care. In three words I would say family oriented, Safe & Warm. They encourage children to grow as individuals and become independent while also learning to thrive in a social setting. They encourage each child to understand their individual learning needs... Both my children do the after school program with Mrs Keshishyan and their homework is always finished & grades have progressed in school. Their tummies are always full & they can't wait to go back the next day! Love it!

Can't tell you how happy my wife and I are, they opened up right in our neighborhood! Mrs. Christine is so good at what she does. We've been looking for the right daycare for the last couple months and we struck gold when they opened up right here on Glenoaks Canyon. We love the fact that they run a Montessori-based daycare and only provide organic foods to the kids. My boy comes home with new skills every week and he actually looks forward to going every morning!
